Wash the berries and set aside to dry.
Cut a slice from the top of the melon and set aside. Cut the rest of the melon into quarters and remove the seeds. Using a paring knife carefully peel away the sink from the outside of the melon and then cut into cubes.
Trim the stalks from the strawberries and quarter.
Arrange the fruit of a large plate or platter.
Using the paring knife carefully cut five triangles out of the top part of the melon to create a start shape and set in the centre.
