Spook-alicious cocktails to get you through fright night!

With Halloween celebrations in full swing, try out these recipes for that perfect addition to your Halloween evening. These six cocktails are sure to make your evening a little spookier and a lot tastier whether it is for yourself to enjoy or throwing a party for your family and friends.

What you’ll need


- A cocktail shaker: BarCraft Stainless Steel 500ml Cocktail Shaker

- A cocktail strainer: BarCraft Stainless Steel Cocktail Strainer

- A spirit measure cup: BarCraft Stainless Steel Dual Spirit Measure Cup

- A mixing spoon: BarCraft Stainless Steel 28cm Mixing Spoon

- Cocktail glasses: Mikasa Cheers Set Of 4 Martini Glasses

Pumpkin Punch


  • 1 floz. orange flavoured vodka
  • ¼ floz. lime juice
  • 1 floz. tequila
  • 2 tsp. pumpkin Seed Butter or Peanut Butter
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters


Add the vodka, tequila, lime juice, bitters and pumpkin seed butter to a shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for a minute, until well mixed.

Strain in to a chilled glass and serve.

Witch's Brew


  • 2 floz. chilli infused vodka
  • 1 floz. sour apple schnapps
  • 1 floz. apple juice
  • Marshmallow eye balls- optional


Add the Vodka, Schnapps and apple juice to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice.

Shake vigorously and pour into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with marshmallow eye balls.

Zombie Apocalypse


  • 1 floz. orange flavoured vodka
  • ½ floz. Malibu
  • 1 floz. passion fruit juice
  • ½ floz. orange juice
  • ¾ floz. cinnamon Schnapps
  • 2 dashes of absinthe
  • ½ floz. Campari


Add the vodka, Malibu, juices, schnapps and absinth to a mixing glass. Top off with crushed ice.

Stir well with a mixing spoon and strain into a highball glass and top off with the Campari.

Black Masquerade


  • 1½ floz. Vodka
  • ½ floz. Crème de Cassis (blackcurrant liqueur)
  • 2 floz. Blackcurrant juice
  • Ice
  • Sugar


Rim a martini glass by dipping it first into a shallow dish of blackcurrant juice then a dish of sugar.

Add all of the ingredients into a mixing glass and stir well with a mixing spoon.

Strain into the prepared glass and serve immediately.

Edgar Allan Poe


  • 2 floz. dark spiced rum
  • ½ floz. cream
  • ½ floz. cinnamon syrup
  • apple juice
  • activated charcoal powder
  • cinnamon powder
  • ice
  • black sugar sprinkles


Prepare the martini glass by dipping the rim in a small dish of apple juice and then into a small dish of black sugar sprinkles.

Add the rum, cream and cinnamon syrup to a cocktail shaker and top up with ice. Shack vigorously until condensation begins to build up on the outside of the shaker.

Strain into the prepared glass and to off with apple juice.

Add a pinch of cinnamon powder and 2 pinches of activated charcoal then carefully stir with a mixing spoon.

Killer Mai Tai


  • 3½ floz. spiced rum
  • 1 ½ floz. coconut-flavoured rum
  • 1tsp grenadine syrup
  • 3 floz. pineapple juice
  • 2 floz. orange juice
  • tropical fruit and flowers to
  • ice


Add ice, spiced rum, coconut rum, grenadine, pineapple juice and orange juice to shaker.

Shake vigorously and strain into glass full of ice, garnish and serve.
